CFF Man Weekend

Al and I have kicked this around alittle and we've spoke with Flip and I briefly mentioned it to Brandon last night. </p>

We are thinking about a trip up to Tims Ford for some Smallie fishing and getting a couple of the local "experts" to help us out. Maybe a Friday to Sunday morning type thing. I want to get the CFF TX Committee and a few Mods to go. I think it would be a blast. Fishing, Camping, and a few cold beers. </p>

Not sure what dates will work out best...I guess we need to look at the Calendar and kick around a few dates. Oct is busy for me with CFF Classic and 3 CBA dates. If we cant get it in by the end the 09 year..Maybe look at dates for the first of the year. What ya'll think?</p>

I am 100% in, as long as its not too far in November or the first weekend of October.</p>

I can rent an RV/pop up for dirt cheap from the arsenal if ya'll want. </p>

also the weekend of Oct 17th is the great Skipjack Hunt, and the next weekend is Tennessee-ALabama

We'll have to work on the dates for sure. Wouldnt bother me to do a good winter trip..LOL. Atleast we wouldnt have to work around tournament dates during those months.

I'm pretty sure I can get my camper up there so long as my dad isnt using it too.

Yea I would possibly have my camper as well as long as it hasn't sold by then. I've got a 2000 model 33'Mallard that would easily sleep 4 or 5 without being too cramped

my closing date is 15 Nov - 30 Nov, so i probably shouldn't commit that weekend away.

I dont see why the first weekend wouldn't work, the weather should be awesome.

Yea I think the 1st wkend of Nov would be feasible. Weather should be about perfect for camping. How many folks you expecting to invite Billy?

Seriously...just the CFF Tournament Committee and the Moderators. I would think we need our ducks in a row on the camping and I know NOTHING about that area. I think if we could place 3 people per boat (if boat is big ebough) that would open up a vehicle or 2 for campers and boats being hauled but we need to look at it in depth.

Where the heck is everyone else at on this? Pointer...Taz...Flip...ROB...all those not mentioned. Speak up.

I just looked at the site Brandon. If Im correct..there 2 main campgrounds. 1 Ends in Oct...not sure about the other. I'll try to make a call just as soon as the others chime in.
