Puddle is on the Christmas list now huh? emoAngel
Maybe you can take a pic to put on this thread??

Hey Guys ,
The pleasure was all mine, for those of you who dont know, Big Al took me and the Peanut into his home and gave up a good part of his day to teach me "All I Know" about fishing rod bilding,, This is a man who freely gives up his time for other people without ever asking for anything in return,, Just My Way Of Saying Thanks.. You touch a lot of people ands its apreciated..emoAngel

Well, all I got to say is a guy has to do what a guy has to do to get a Fat Albert Rod!!!!!
That was not only quite thoughtful and generous, but it was a great expression of respect! Tip of the Hat to you Puddle!!!!! And for those of you that weren't there, Puddle also made a really awesome contraption to test knots last night. He had built, from scratch, a serious steel structure that will outlive all of us. Thanks much Puddle. You are a class act and really take the cake!

Puddle you are a talented guy. You did a heck of a job on the knot tester and on the rod wrapper. Everything looked professionally put together to say the least. I can't wait for you to start making rods if they are as high quality as the rest of the stuff you build you will have no trouble selling them :)

Yep, the knot test was great. Guess I gotta switch from my " improved trilene" knot to the palomar. Thanks for the time you guys spent preparing everything.

Puddle did a great job on both projects, emoToast
The knot tester was a big hit, emoThumbsup Lot'sa info gathered
from that demonstration with all the different knots tested against
one another, emoThumbsup There were several supprises during
those tests with some knots failing that were holding the odds over
knots that didn't fail.
That knot testing fixture will be in demand every time there's a Meet &
Greet, that's for sure.
Great job Puddle 'cause I know makin' up things like that are time comsuming, emoThumbsup
