Not trying to stir up anything after all the BS about the launch site at G'ville, but have any of you guys ever put in at Sarindino? The ramp just below Old Hales Bar but before you get to where they work on the bardges? That's where I go, 90 % of thime and have for years.

I will give my opinion on this matter one time...

Im sick and tired of folks finding something to bitch and moan about for every single event we have for the CFF. It will never stop. I say we stick to our schedule. If they dont like it, they dont have to fish it. I knew this was going to happen as soon as we changed the Gunny Tx ramp location. Watch, now every single event there will be a freaking petition to move it to somewhere else.

You guys can vote on it or do whatever you think you need to do. My answer is to stick with our schedule. So you know my vote if it comes down to it.

Now I agree that MCP is small and last year we had one hell of a mess when there were 3 different events coming out of there that morning. But we knew that when we made the schedule. Everybody wanted to fish out of MCP because it is in the middle of the lake. I say we take note of this when determining next years schedule. Hell, Shellmound is a good ramp with good parking for future reference....

Not trying to be a thorn in the side guys. I just dont want us to be changing every freaking event for the rest of the year. You let folks have their way once, and they will try it again EVERY time.

I know! I was just mentioning that ramp because none of the other Tx use it that I know of. Carl Reed and his group or Chris Asher's was there at MCP or Sullivan's EVERY Sat. not to mention any other Tx! that may come in. Several guys I've talked to in the past couple years, didn't know about the Sarindino ramp! I just thought I'd mention it as a possibility. So I guess that Shellmound is open again? It was closed some last year.

I dont think Shellmound was ever closed, they just had a bunch of floating docks piled up in the parking lot. You could still get in and use it, it just cut down on parking some

No, there was a while TVA shut down and blocked the ramp. The Rairty Club and TVA also tried to close the road to at the enterance of Rairty to keep all those 'ol fisherman out and the other residences got lawyered up and stopped that! Then Rairty sold that property to another investor and I believe he went belly up.

I have used Serodino for years, mostly because it is usually not crowded. I do know there have been a few break-ins etc. I also know some of the clubs using it are not the most upstanding and honest.

I've never had a proble there! I do know that about a year ago, I was talking to Carl Reed there and showed me a pile of glass. He said that some local guy had broken into a truck there and the next week got caught by some other locals trying again. He said he was in the hospital for about two weeks!

What was the grief with the blast off ferom the last one. I keep seeing hints about that.

Heres you an idea...Just use the big ass parking lot below the dam. Have everyine load up in the locks, then blast off onto nickajack from there. LOL

Billy, Which "last one"? Gunny this year or N'jack last year? The only complaint I've heard was it was crowded?! I thought Gunny, all in all went pretty good! I just thought I'd mention the Sarindino ramp as an alternative. And I'm not complaining either! It was just a suggestion! There is going to be two or three Tx's every week at MCP and Sullivan's, we just know that! The only Tx group that I've ever known to use Sarindino was Oakwood Baptist Church. You basically would have it all to yourself. But it really doesn't matter to me. Now, since you brought it up, I'm ok with locking through the Chick into the Nick too! I'll just fish for SM watch everyone else burn gas! That would be a great date for the Riverpark! March pre spawn Smallmouth! Little Pickwick!

I think he's talking about us sitting at the mouth of Roseberry when the TN Valley Bass Club was coming out. But I think that happened because the horn froze up.

Since this year's rule changes are partially aimed toward first-timers, I agree that we should stick with the schedule and make things look organized.
Last year at MCP was just fine!

If we made it through sitting at the mouth of Rosebury like a bunch of rubber duckies then while boats were flying in all directions around us, then 2 tx out of MCP will be fine-park in the grass. emoThumbsup

Guys parking will be a pain but if you dont wait till blast off to get there its not that bad. come early and enjoy the day. we are coming in at 2 again and will not be busy at that time. so deal with unloading and blast off and enjoy a great day of fishing.
