I'll edit this post with more details on fish weights after Beetlespin posts the official results. I will also be posting my report after results have been posted. It was a great day to be fishing and meeting up with other CFF members!

Thanks FishHeadSpin, I can't recall the weights but I think yours was heavier than mine... Flip1up's son took that picture...pics shot from a low angle helps to make those spots look like monsters!

Nice fish gents! Wish I could have made it but I made the mistake of going to Walmart about noon to "pick up a few things" and ended up standing in line for about 30 minutes, not to mention the crowds and trying to find stuff. Looks like it was a lot of fun even if it was a little chilly out there. Glad to see everyone had a good time....

I wish I could have made it yesterday had every intention of being there... I had to finish burning the remaining brush from my property, and cutting up 2 trees we cut down earlier in the week, the dozer is coming Monday, and the footers are to be started Monday. My water pump impeler in my boat needs to be replaced b4 I can use the boat again.
Also waiting for the doc to release my Mom from hospital which we thought they would do Sat.. as it turns out she will be in Respitory in patient rehab at kindercare ? Downtown for another week. She went in the hospital last Sunday almost died from pneumonia in both lungs, as it turns out she also has emphysema. She thought she was in control of every thing .. now she knows or truley realizes that she is not in control of anything.. only god is in control. Anyway .. Im glad a good time was had by all

Congrats to Gator, I think that was the only Lg.Mouth weighed in, but it was a very nice one. There were some real nice Spotted Bass caught though and the 1 big Smallie. A big atta boy to all of yall that fished, it was pretty cold to start off the day. I enjoyed meeting a few new folks and seeing the "old hands" again. FA brought one of his custom made works of art, passed it around just to tease us. Davo was licking his lips trying to figure out how he could add it to his arsenal of 60+ rods, but back in the truck it went ( he locked it too ). The handful of children had a good time too, eating chicken and kicking a soccer ball. It was fun, yall dont forget next Saturday we will try it again in the frostbite T out of HBSP.

I meant to mention that I changed the ending time for next Sat. to 2:00 P.M.

I wish I could have gone to this one, and had every intention of going, but we had a death in the family early Friday morning. My aunt died in Atlanta, and we went down to the receiving friends and funeral. Glad you guys had a good time and thankfully the weather wasn't too bad for you guys.

<font color="#6600ff">Congrats to the winners....Beetle almost froze our leader half to death on the run down river. I am surprise he was able to move for a couple of hours.... It sure was nice to get to fellowship with some new members and get to know them...great addition for the CFF.  Looks as if they will fit right in.  Thanks, flip for letting me check out the double chin, I have one too.  LOL     Pictures of the fish ...man, they looked good and healthy..  Had a good time eating and shooting the bull....FA
