Why does it take nearly 50 seconds from the time I hit the submit button until the message posts when I am either creating a new post, or replying to someone else's post?

I'm having the same issues today. I sent the same PM to Spur 3 times! The last time I made sure to copy and paste. I'll get with Mike at First Light ASAP!</p>

I do know we have had a tremendous enrollment of new members but I think thinks that it. I may speak to them about doing some archiving of OLD stuff that can be pulled from the search engine. We did this on another site and it really helped the speed of the site. </p>

Helpful hint: after hitting "submit", scroll back to the top of the page and hit "forums". This allows the server to accept you submission and takes you back to the main forums page quickly. Much faster than waiting, and few if no timeouts.

Yep, that's what I do... If it still takes to long, I just exit out and get right back on... quicker that way
