OK, first thing, Let me say emoSorry for this may seem like a whine session.
I'm not a brain surgeon..... But is it me... or does it appear that the CFF tourney's are team/partner tournaments? I want to fish in them, but alone due to my boat size. emoScratch
I have a 14 ft john boat - model #1432 and only 32 inches wide (It had the bench seats removed when I purchased it, so I customized it for better fishing and tournaments.
I currently need to replace the flooring and removable livewell) and hopefully soon. I will have a manual start outboard - around a 15 hp most likely.
I do not need $300,000 Insurance on such a water rocket. emoLaugh I refuse to buy such a policy on such an inexpensive boat when Tenn law doesn't require it on small boats. emoBadLanguage
I can't afford to fish all year long as a back seater in tournaments, I can afford to fish in my own boat and perhaps once in awhile - fish with other CFF members and share expenses to take me fishing in their boats. emoAngler
Does any one know a club or local tournament schedule that allows boats under 16 ft, doesn't require a kill switch or $300,000 liability and not require fishing partners? emoPlease
Everyone here has been great and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone possible. I really do appreciate any and all help... from the past, present and in the future. emoGrouphug emoWorthy
Sincerely, emoThanks
