Another GREAT turnout for a CFF event. We thank everyone that came out to fish and we had a couple of good ones weighed in last night. </p>

Heres the Money Places and 1st out of the money results. </p>

1. Wade Kilgore and Robbie McGill - 13.24 and 3rd BF @ 5.24 (Congrats on the win guys)</p>

2. Gary Huges and Patrick - 10.56 and 2nd BF @ 5.67</p>

Even thou I was not classed as a "Real angler" I had a great time. emoThumbsup Thanks for putting these on and going to the trouble to allow us to have these types of fellowship tournaments. As usual the pre-blast-off was as fun as the tournament itself. Good to see everyone and exchange secrets. Kilgore and McGill did a great job again at showing us all how to do it at the weigh in. You are right, I cannot catch fish at all. Don't follow me, watch me and if you see me do not fish there since I do not know what I am doing. Don't listen to me or check out what I got tied on. I am completely lost on the water and have no idea what to do unless Beetespin is with me and then half the time both of us are lost. If you see us just wave and go on cause there are no fish there. emoEvil Jmax

I finally got a break at work and was able to fish this event and I'm glad we did. Great time and a great group of people as well. I wish I could have fished some more of these. I hope it continues to grow, we counted around 30 boats in the channel for blast off. Im glad I got the opportunity to fish this and to meet some of the people from the forum. Fishing was slow to say the least and to see someone bring in a 13 plus and a 10 plus pound bag in those conditions provides hope for us all....Great bag Wade and Robbie and Gary and Patrick. And congrats to the Johnsons on that big fish. The good fellowship and the atmosphere was second to none so if anyone can get the chance to participate in one of these events I would highly recommend it. Im definately going to do it again.

THANKS TO THE CFF GUYS FOR DOING ANOTHER GREAT JOB,HAD A GOOD TIME FISHING WITH PATRICK WE CAUGHT A LOT OF FISH BEFORE DARK. THE BLAST OFF WAS NOT ALOT OF FUN I THINK THATS AS ROUGH AS I HAVE EVER SEEN THE LAKE. WE CAUGHT FOUR KEEPERS UP RIVER ON A WORM . IWAS USEING A11 INCH JUNEBUG PATRICK WAS USEING RED BUG AFTER I PUT 4 KEEPERS IN THE BOAT HE SAID I THINK I NEED TO CHANGE WORMS , BUT HE MADE UP FOR IT LATER HE CAUGHT THE 5.56.WE FISHED UP AROUND SODDY. As always thanks to everyone who plays a part in putting these TX on, even BBass. Good to see everyone, old friends and a few new ones. Congrats to everyone on the money list, some really nice fish weighed in last night. It was a slow night for me and my partner, fish had changed from where they had been thursday night or they were just hanging around laughing at us, took us a good while to find any and then they were on the small side. Still had a blast and we were able to put a few in the boat. Looking forward to the next one.

It was good to see friendsagain I already knew and meet new ones too. What could be better than to be around so many fellow anglers ?</p>

We didn't know too much about the area so we startedaround the point going into CFP and worked our way back toward the ramp. We had decided to fish some black plastics after dark. My partner caught the 1st 2 keepers on a lizard. While getting the hook out of the 2nd one I saw the color of his lizard was june bug. He noticed it too and said he thought it was black when he picked it out. Well, ain't that luck or what. I switched to june bug and caught the next two keepers. All our fish were 15 1/8 to 15 1/2. Couldn't find any kickers. We might not have caught anything if he hadn't put on a june bug by mistake. That's what makes fishing so much fun to me. You never know ! Thanks to info on CFF, we successfully fizzed one of our fish and he turned out OK. All fish released alive and struggling to get the heck away from us.</p>

Got some more dipping sauce and Monkey Dust from Wet Willie. The ribs are on the grill now, can't wait. I was hoping to see the Monkey Dust girls but maybe they have other late night engagements. emoEek </p>

We are looking forward to the next one. If you haven't fished any of these events give it a try. You won't be disappointed !emoThumbsup </p>
