CFSP 11/22/06

RRigsby and I got out tonight around 5 PM and had the lake to ourselves besides the duck hunters? Is it duck season? Anyway, we fished the same pattern that we have had great luck lately to no avail. We were throwing 3/8-1/4 oz sb all night with nairy a hit. Finally Ryan had to eat so I got to run the boat for a bit and caught my only fish. Id say it would go about 2#. I caught it in about 4 foot of water on the SB off a point with stumps. We also threw jigs as well but no luck. Went to a differnt rocky point where Ryan caught a fish that would go about 3#+ also on a black 3/8 oz SB, but after that nothing. I guess our pattern has run its course. But unlike the other nights, there was no moon, no front moving in, no bait, and we fished different parts of the lake. We stayed between WT and CFSP.

Dont make fun of my papushka hat. It kept me warm.

Nice fish, how late did you stay?

We were on the water around 5:30 and left about 9. Both fish were caught between 7-8 I believe.

I wouldn't make fun of that hat, I have one just like it and its my favorite cold weather/ hunting hat. Nice fish!
