Changing out an aerator pump

Ihave very little mechanical ability and I need to replace an aerator on my boat. It's a Mayfair model. Is it as simple as unscrewing the cartridge and putting in a new one?</p>

Yep, there are two little clips you have to unclip. Then you just unlock it by turning it and change it out. About as simple as it gets. Just don't do it in the water. Jmax

Do you need to change out the pump or just the filter ?

Pump. What filter? Geez...it's got a filter I've gotta worry about too?
