Changing trolling motors

My Trolling motor finally kicked the bucket. It is a Motor Guide Brute 750 12-24 volt. It has a plug in with four prongs. My question is when i get a new trolling motor should I try and find one with the same hook up? Or can I replace the plug in so the new one will fit? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Either way works, it is not hard to change the plug or the receptacle to match whatever you buy. I know Minn Kota comes without a plug so you can wire up whatever plug you want. Let me know what you are looking for and I will try to give you a great deal.
