Chase got another one !

Saturday was a special day for me and Chase . We both got a gobbler . We had set up on the edge of a field and and had three Jakes running to us before I had hardly started calling . Played with them for 20 minutes calling them in then letting them leave only to call them back in . I had just quit yelping and we heard a spit and drum to the left of me . It was a big gobbler in full strut at 40 yds. Chase didn't have a shot so he told me to take him . 20 lbs , 10 inch beard and 1 1/8 spurs . Headed back to the truck and stopping every 200 yds to cutt and yelp . 200 yards from the truck we got a answer from a hen . Three hens came within 8 feet of us bringing in two gobblers with them . Chase had one of them down before I could say shoot ! Biggest Jake I ever saw . 17 lbs. (on digital fish scales ) ,
4 in beard and 1/2 inch spurs . Love days like this !!! Pictures to follow ... Thanks TT !
