Do yall realize that our tournament was the same day. I think we ought to rescheduleor cancel if we cant reschedule a different date to be respectful to this event. What do yall think? I'm actually thinking about fishing it but not sure yet.

... but where are you going to move it too? Our last regular season Tx. is scheduled for Sept. 26th. Catch and CBA are on the 18th and 19th of Sept. Then in Oct. the Catch is on the 3rd and the CBA is the 10th and our Classic is the 17th and 18th.

We could do it on Sunday the 13th, I know its church day but we fish our classic on Sunday as well. I don't think cffer's would mind they would all feel the same I'm sure.

Boy did I open up a can worm, GEEZS why must people put their freaking opinions in there when they don't even fish the damn Trail! I don't believe I will ever fish another CBA tournament! I liked Shane before his comment he made about CFF members that may or may not fish. I'm not fishing the Chattanooga strong now because the more I think about it makes me mad. It should have stayed in Hamilton county anyways. Its nothing but more PR for Michael Neal and the FLW.

elwestb - 8/31/2015 7:16 PM ha, ha, ha, You just ask for an opinion and all HELL breaks lose! Leave it alone as scheduled.

saltyduck - 8/31/2015 2:41 PM So let me get this straight. We have dozens of boats coming from 2-8 hours away to fish the NoogaStrong tournament and our own community of CFF TOURNAMENT fisherman aren't going to fish it. That's a bit shocking to me...

That does tend to read like a smartass comment!

I didn't delete anything. Maybe Erik did? Or even Jmax....

I do however felt that it was entirely rude to not look at the trail dates for CFF, and on the same token , advertise the crap out of it here.

Well, that is why the CBA lost support from me. I don't want the CFF to be the CBA and for the most part, think this is a few CBA'ers padding their EGOs. The idea of the tournament was started by someone else, and all he has done is taken it and run with it. I will be honest, I care less if we fish the same day as the CBA, even during the season. If you are a full-time CBA fisherman, then you should be a better fisherman than most part-timers who fish the CFF. I will leave it with this.

I had connections to two of those men who died during that dreadful attack. I prefer to do things out of sight to help, be it financially, or however I choose to be of service. In my eyes the only one I need to know what I do is my Lord. I don't need to be patted on that back (or pat myself on the back) to think I am doing something special.

Keep it the way it is. If we want to support the effort as a group, then let us make a separate donation not to the tournament, but directly to either the families or one of the organizations under the name of the CFF Tournament Trail. Just a thought.

Larry Brown actually had the first date set in Aug. out of CFP. then it was changed to Dayton and move to Sept. I do not understand why Shane thinks that the Dayton ramp is better and has more parking than CFP? I see it the other way around! If you want to know the truth, I don't think it was changed for that reason at all. I think that Dayton and Michael Neal went after the event and I don't blame them for that either. Why not? They will make some money for their on efforts. Smart move on their part the way I see it. Chattanooga / Hamilton County is too stupid to understand that! But there again if it's a CBA event or a SCANCTIONED and blessed by the CBA event, then everyone on the lake is to be put on notice to stay off the water or get out of the way! They have their Rights you know!
