SATURDAY (APRIL 9) IS THE DAY!! - The Chattanooga Ducks Unlimited Great Outdoors Festival, sponsored by Sportsman's Warehouse Chattanooga. 11 am - 3pm at Covey Creek Farm (2855 Cloud Springs Rd., Rossville, Ga.). The first 300 youngsters registered (17 and under) receive a Ducks Unlimited Greenwing or Varsity membership. They also receive a free goody bag, including a fishing rod (as long as they last) from Bass Pro Shops. Kids and parents are treated to a free lunch with drawings for door prizes, including two $100 Gift Cards from Sportsman's Warehouse. This is always a great event. I was privileged to work with the Chattanooga Crappie Club again this year helping the kids fish. Great fun but so Windy! I’m told that over 200 kids were there on a cold windy day.
