The 3rd Annual Chattanooga Bass Bug Classic will be held this June 9 & 10. It is the only multi-day tournament of its kind anywhere in the country as anglers fly fish for bass on a 5-fish daily creel limit similar to conventional events. Tournament entry fee is $300 per boat/team. Proceeds of tournament go to the Chambliss Childrens Home & Shelter in Chattanooga. Original artwork, fishing gear, and cash-pot payouts are awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Big Fish placers. Tournament is based out of Raccoon Mtn. Boat Ramp where flights are launched at daybreak both mornings and weigh-ins are made in the afternoons. Check out www.chattanoogabassbugclassic.com for details, or call (423) 267-0024 to inquire further.

Just to remind everyone... With the 13-year cicada hatch in full swing and with the impending willow fly hatch along the Nickajack section of the Tennessee River, this year's Chattanooga Bass Bug Classic tournament has the potential for the best fishing it has ever seen. Quality fishing gear, artwork, and a cash-payout awarded to all place finishers. Tournament entries also provide proceeds for our local charity and allow for a fun, tourney kick-off dinner with ditty bags for all.
