We had a wonderful turnout for the 2nd CCC open tournament. 17 boats participated in the event that started out of Chester Frost Park this AM around 7:00 AM. Eleven boats weighed in fish with several 7 fish limits, however the big fish seemed to elude everyone. Tommy Whitt and Jason Adams had big fish with a 1.6 ounce Black Crappie. The winners caught their fish on docks. It seems that Outlaw Special color was the winning lure choice.

Here are the official results:

1. James Schrader and Jeff Hackney 5 lbs 11 ounces
2. Mike Johnston and Seth Coleman 5 lbs 4 ounces
3. Brian Howard and Tina Harrison 4 lbs 15 ounces
4. Tommy Whitt and Jason Adams 4 lbs 13 ounces
5. Hal Perry and Zack Bryden 4 lbs 11 ounces
6. Dickey Porter and Allison Johnston 4 lbs 8 ounces
7. Bobby and Tabitha Ramsey 4 lbs 3 ounces
8. Bryan and Gavin Ainselie 3 lbs 15 ounces
9. Fred Shoenfeld and Stan Robinson 2 lbs 15 ounces
10. David East and Jim Minor 2 bls 6 ounces
11. Jim Edmister and Rickey Watts 1 lb 5 ounces.

Tony Pardue was at the weigh in to give out samples of the new 2" Crappie Dapper Panfish Assassins to everyone. This bait isn't on the market yet, but I'm sure that all of us will give them a trial in the coming days. Thank you, Tony. We will keep you posted on our results with this new lure.
