This Saturday the 14th will be our next to last open tournament of the year. The tournament hours will be safe light till 4PM out of Chester Frost. The sign-up information is at all locations. You can sign up at Soddy Custom Tackle, Fish-N-Fun, Nichols Marine, and Hamilton's Sport Shop.
This is an open tournament format so anyone that wants to come out and fish is welcome. This tournament last year only took 20.23# to win, and with the way the conditions are out there right now this one could be won by anybody!

A big thanks to Fish-N-Fun for there continued support of the CBA. I was over there this morning and if anyone is in the market for a new Ranger they got some good deals on new and demo boats right now! Go check them out.

I look forward seeing everybody Saturday morning... If you live outside of the Chattanooga area and pay at the ramp please be at the ramp at least 30 minutes before blast-off. It makes it difficult to blast off as early as possible when we are waiting on people to pay right at safe light. I will be at the weigh-in stand at least an hour before blast-off.

Its also our annual officer nominations time. Guys, if you would like to be part of CBA officerhood, here is your chance. Its is time that the next generation start bleeding into our leadership. So you young guns, that enjoy tx fishing step it up. In the past couple of years we didnt even have much of an election because The nominees were not challenged. Several of the old timmers will be stepping down this year and I am anxious to see which members take the reins and keep the CBA on top of the local tx scene.

Last year this one here was one of our lowest weight tournaments to win. It was won by Mark Keith and Mark Verady with just 20.23 lbs. I think it took just under 17 lbs to get a check. With the lake dropping and the bass on the move it is one tournament that is anyone's bet to win. As my report stated from Tuesday bass are in all stages, from shallow to deep and all in between. Five good bites in the boat and you may just have a pay day. emoBigsmile The weather this weekend is suppose to be about a perfect as it comes. Low that morning shows to be 58 with a high around 80. emoToast If nothing else it should be a good day to get out and wet a hook. Hope to see a good turn out for this one. emoThumbsup

Here are last year's happy couple....
