Cheating in a Kayak Tournament on Dale Hollow

Wired 2 Fish had an article on a cheater being caught in a tournament on Dale Hollow. It was a catch, measure, photo and release tournament for kayak fisherman. The individual had shortened his bump board so that a 12" fish became a 16" fish. emoEnforce How low will people stoop to win a few bucks??????

Thats nuts. Did you see the post where a guy found a barrel with holes drilled in it sunk with a big limit of fish on culling tags? What do you really accomplish in cheating? One thing is for sure, there is always going to be someone trying to cut corners.

Like has been said already. I just cannot see why a person would go through all that and cheat just to win a few bucks. emoScratch Surely it is not some kind of self gratification when it is done through cheating. I just don't get it. Then again I guess we should not understand it, honest people struggle with understanding cheaters. Just like the a-holes up at the G last year that got caught cheating in that bass series there. It pretty much ruined their reputations, careers and life styles, all for a couple fifteen minutes of fame. Fame that in their minds they knew was ill-gotten fame that should have never been given to them. Those folks are just not right. They missed out on something growing up. emoTskTsk Jmax

I thought that if you took the money out of the tournaments, that would cure it. But, for some, it isn't the money, it is just the "15 minutes of fame"
