Guys, just thought we would get some discussion as to our account and funds and what we are planning to use them for. I know end of year stuff will be taken out of it, but what other things can we discuss to try and achieve to make this thing more successful in the future?

The $5 first time idea was a great thing and I say we keep it that way from now on.

I think we need to look at some tank designs and ways we can build them cost effectively. Our shorter hours and 3 fish limits already promote fish health, but there are more steps we can take to show that we are serious about the health of our fisheries, and weigh-in tanks are a must for our future in my opinion.

Another thing I have been kicking around is us all getting some shirts, each the same color and embroidered or screen printed to announce to the anglers who are on the committee. "CFF TX COMMITTEE" or something of that nature on the pocket and the back. Make ourselves easily identifiable to anyone who may need assistance. Just a thought.

I also think banners are a must. We announce our sponsors verbally at the end of events for the raffle drawings, but let's look at getting a 4x8 banner or something and put our tournament trail sponsors' logos on there. These guys are donating items to us to give away, the least we can do is try to give them so more exposure.

Any other things you guys can think of? Let's get some discussion and input going on this

Can't argue with anything you wrote Adam. Problem is...who's going to set up the tanks before the weigh in? Do we set them up before blastoff and leave them there all day or someone in the Committee stopping early and setting them up?

Sounds like good ideas to me. I think that Billy already has some info on the tanks. Ribbons, tanks, shirts, banners all sound good. I would like to have duties defined and specified for each TCM before each Tx so everyone knows where to be and what to do. Also we need to discuss rules and enforcement.
