Have the opportunity to hunt some Ga property for the first time this year, purchased lic and also got the check-in paperwork where you keep records of deer harvested....with no need to permanently affix a tag to your animal, does anyone know if there will be any problem leaving a harvested animal with a Tn deer processor before the Tn season even opens?

Wonder if TN processors even take deer before the Tn season even opens, I have used the processor off of Thrasher for the last several years

I don't think GA uses Kill tags, they are on an Honor system. I do the same from TN to GA. In the area on the form you fill out at theprocessors, write in Georgia. If it should come down to it I would think your proof of GA huntingLicenseswould be enough. Besides, as a TWRA officer, would you think a poacher would have a deer processed? </p>

As a last resort "Claim Roadkill". LOL</p>
