Well after a tough tournament day Sat, I had to get out today and yesterday and find some browns that would measure. I caught two that measured yesterday and a large mouth in 1 1/2 hours after school. Today I went up and got on some more including a nice 18" three pound something. I ran up river from the dam sat and only got one. I am finding fish now on the lower end. Rattletrapper and I have a tournament next saterday from the 25 E bridge. Does anyone know of anything that is hot towards the upper end to keep me from running all the way down river. Thanks Dusty

I fish Cherokee 4-5 times a week, for stripers. Around the red barn we have caught some big smallies and largemouth on live shad.,and on flukes. Also around the back of the "T". Alot have been breaking on ther dying shad around Panther Crk, towards the back"SM" Ill PM you my number , give me a call. I can explain where to go

Used to live in M'town but haven't fished Cherokee in a few years. The link below should be a map of an area I used to fish ...

The island in the center of the map used to be good for some decent fish on clown-colored jerk bait in the early spring on south-western end (near the red X). This is just a couple of miles downstream of the bridge...

Used to catch some fish on c-rig on the flats on the back-side of the island. Don't know how far the water's up right now - but there are alot of bushes on the main peninsula to the east of these islands that used to be pretty good too.

Used to turkey hunt and fish around the islands in this area...

Good luck
