Went fishing last night for an hour (10-11pm). Caught six bass. Three were keepers and the other three were in the running. All were caught on Zoom Big Critters (watermelon seed). All were caught within 6 to 15 foot from waters edge.
All were caught after my line came unstuck from rocks or what ever was on the ramp or just off the ramp. Five on Texas Style and one just before I left on Carolina Rig. Used a very light weight. They didn't play around with it, hit hard. Only missed one fish, he ran with it as soon as it hit the water and I just wasn't ready.
Went Mon. or Tues at about the same time, but only for a half hour, and caught one war mouth.
Couldn't get a hit further out, at the end of the dock. There are actualy some good rock piles out there that I usualy have good luck on, but no takers.
Pretty fun for an hour of fishing. I got to talk to one boater that came in and they fished for only a couple of hours and said they caught 11 bass in shallow and deep water. Said he caught some on Rattle trap and crawl and none on spinner bait.
Water seemed to be up from what it was at on Monday.
