I got out late afternoon 4-8 for few minutes. I actually went to test out my new (used and free) trolling motor, but with a little daylight left I had to throw a few rods in the boat. Best news - the trolling motor worked good!! I actually only fished for about 30 minutes. Caught 1 short LM throwing a crawdad color crankbait. I was throwing into about 3-4 ft and cranking off a little ledge into about 10-12 ft. Water temp. was around 63 deg. After I hooked up with one, part of me wanted to stay, but I didn't go properly clothed to do so. As the sun started down and the wind picked up, I had all the cold I could handle.
