If anyone really believes a larger than 24 boat TX will only use them on the right side of the lot and over flow the rest then there is a mud bar straight out in front of the ramp I'll sell you cheap.

Every Tx. trail that I have talked with said that they were told that there would be only ONE Tx. permit issued per three day weekend, meaning Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This was to apply to any type of fishing Tx. whether it be Bass, Crappie or Catfish. Every time you speak with them you get a different answer.

And exactly HOW are they going to know if a vehicle/trailer is fishing an organized tournament or not?

It would be very easy to just say that you happened to launch with the tournament and out of coincidence happened to be loading back up at the same time it was over ...............................

LEOs at the weigh ins probably.

Obviously, there have been numerous complaints by non-tournament folks about this. The Park Svc is doing what they think they need to do to appease those complaints. Getting a permit is fine, but limiting the number of boats at the main ramp is NOT. How can you restrict access to certain citizens (taxpayers) and not others?

Unless it's challenged and the plaintiff(s) win in court, they can basically do what they want. Who has $ to pay for lawyers? At least the permits are no charge (for now).

Maybe the non fishermen will see how bad the ramp and docks need repair they will launch elsewhere!</p>
