Hey .. warmer weather .. and dying to get out on the water. launched up near Soddy Lake at about 3:30pm, man that ramp is shallow this time of year .. and it drops of not far from water line.. not sure what that ramps name is, You can get there from Dayton Pike near Soddy Tackle, or from Hixson Pike, thru the grave yard.
But anyway ran back down near the main lake, and worked my way back up to the ramp the wind at my back.. had a few solid bites, and hooked 2 bass one came of at the boat .. prob 2 lbs, and the other was its clone. I saw a bunch of shad and bunch of fish near by prob were crappie.. at around 18 -24 feet. The Bass I caught was along rocky bank with lay down trees, they where in 10 -15 feet. I caught them on jig and pig black and blue. I did have one good fish ( Prob 3-4 lbs) swipe at a Supspendig Rouge right at the boat at the end of a tree, but could never get it to come back and do it again.
I was the only one I saw fishing .. guess too windy and cold for anyone else emoScratch
