Fished the CBA and had a great time catching fish. The change in weather and drop in the lake level semmed to scatter the fish we found this week. We started down river and just hole hoped our way back up river. It seemed like we caught a fish on just about every stop but they were never stacked. Water temps ranged from 55-58 degrees. the murky/windblown pockets and banks seemed to hold fish alot shallower than the protected areas. We caught alot of fish including 9 keepers. Our best five went 12.75lbs and included a 19.5" SM that was hooked in the belly and gave my partner quite a tussel. We had several nice fish shake loose late in the day that may have got us close to a check. we caught fish on jigs, traps, jerkbaits and CBs. I caught several fish on a crawfish colored speed-trap. Man there were some fish feeding as it took 15+lbs to get a check and they paid 14 places. This lake is on fire!
