Chick, 4/23 Bass

Well, I went out for a few hours last night and it was nice. The weather and water were perfect and the fish cooperated (sorta). I fished some of the coves north of Harrison Bay and didn't catch any real size but caught some nice ones. All were caught on a pumpkin seed lizard with chartreuse tail. Most came from 1-4 feet deep. I have found some other things that may be of real interest, but I will let you know about them on 5/7.

Fished up river with my buddy from 2pm till dark. We started fishin shallow and caught a few small fish on a senko and tube.Went out on the river and my friend started goin off! He flipped up a 2.5 then a 5 later a 3 and a 3.8 and finally his fifth keeper was a 2.7.He also caught 6 or 7 short fish.Me,well I went behind him and caught 8 total fish between 10 to 12 inches.I said "Hey man you would have rock and rolled in the Walmart tourn. yesterday"! But he said knowing his luck he wouldnt have had a keeper.
