Well, I got out for a couple of hours a bit ago and did ok on buck bass. I knew it would be a not so great day when I caught a fat spot on my first cast, for some reason that is always a bad omen. I fished coves around Bear Trace golf course and took them on floating worm, zoom lizard and wedge spinnerbait. The wind on the main lake was tough and there are some huge logs floating around, you are top of some before you can even see them.
I didn't even get a chance to try my new Lucky Craft lures that came in the mail yesterday

I did find some other spots that may do ok for the dogfight on Thursday.
