Hit the lake around Harrison Bay for a while today, from about 6:15 to noon. Caught a few slicks early on a LC Sammy in 3-5, they were in small wolf packs busting shad on flats. Moved out to a long point and caught a few more on the the Sammy and then a nice keeper on a Chatterbait. First time using that thing and had a ton of bites but had trouble hooking up. The vibration that thing puts out is incredible, but like I said, I only caught one and missed about 6 on it. I started to fish some places I normally wouldn't fish, just trying to find something new. I was hitting some main lake humps near the channel and caught a nice 4lber on a c-rig with Zoom green pumpkin lizard, right at 9am. Tried several more humps and long flats and caught a lot more small fish, but no more keepers. I left around noon because the lake was filling up with idiots very quickly.
