Chick 6/15

[Racefish]

I took my son and my partner out for a little while to put some more time on the motor as I am still breaking it in from it blowing up earlier. We put in at Soddy Creek and ran up to Dayton. We caught several fish on a shallow CB, then I couldn't stand it anymore and went to topwater. I caught 5 on a Frenzy Popper with the biggest being around 6 lbs. 2 of the others were 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. My partner had 3 other keepers ( just barely 15") on a spook Jr. My son had the time of his life watching those fish come to the top. Get out on the water right now and catch these fish on the top, I'm sure it won't last long.

Sounds like you were putting more time on the T motor than the Yammie, there Racefish! Sounds like fun. Freebird called me yesterday at work to tell me all about the savage TW bites he was getting at P'ville on Tuesday night. Gotta love that sound!

Yeah I was justifing the trip with the 20 min run up river. The TM definately did most of the work.
