Chick 7-20 thru 22

Went camping the other day and we stayed at Harrison bay. Took my little girl down to the lake and we had a ball. She caught 15 bream the first day, using crickets. Then Friday she went thru a hundred crickets like it was candy. I don't know how many fish she caught. Not really big ones but she was having a good time. Got up Sat. morning to survey the storm damage..." Kinda like the guys in 'O brother where art thou" Dang! We're in a tight spot!! emoLaugh Everything was ok where we were. Anyway, she went back down to the lake and we took her a chair and she caught a 2# cat. Little ole reel was a screamin and she was hollerin for me to help.. She finally got it in and she had a ball. Will try to get a pic on here later.

Hey Fat Albert I tell ya what.. When fishing gets to where it don't excite me anymore just put a boot in my --- and bury me.. Yeah, we had a time together. Wife said it looked like we was fightin over who was gonna cast the next time. emoLaugh She is getting better at the casting part tho...emoThumbsup

Glad for your daughter and your whole family! Sounds like alot of fun. I am really looking forward to getting to fish with my dad a whole weekend on Weiss really soon! Hopefully he'll out catch me!

Well, I finally got to get my pics straightened out.. it didn't matter to her whether they were 2" long or 2' long. emoLaugh What really made it special is before we went to bed that night she came over to me and wrapped her arms around me and gave me a big hug and thanked me for the fun she had that day.emoThumbsup Now THAT is what its all about!!!! emoHeart

Thats IS what its all about. Makes the effort we put into it so rewarding , no matter how easy or difficult of a day we may have with them. (tree shots and stuff..LOL)

What a beautiful Daughter. My daughter used to go with me often when she was 3-4 years old. She would go fishing with me now if she lived closer and she is 43 years old. In a couple of years, Ross will be off to College also, so I expect to get in some quality fishing time with my Beautiful Daughter.

She developed that "feel-good" attitude about fishing way back then.

Always remember to give her some priority when you fish. You may find that she will make a great practice partner.

They grow up too quick!!!
