Went out for a little while this afternoon. I thought I would try to find some new spots today, so I did not fish any of the places I normally fish. I didn’t even go check on my schooler today. I spent the 1st half of the day fishing in shallow water. I caught a few LM with 1 keeper. I spent the 2nd half of the day fishing deeper. I caught a few more with 2 keepers, 1LM and 1 Spot. Some of the shallow places will not be fishable when the water is dropped , but may be a good place in the spring when they spawn. Boy did the wind blow today. I bet I put my rain suit on and off 5 times today.

Were the bass roaming in the shallows today? Or holding tight to some form of cover?

The keeper came off a tree and the non-keepers were kinda roaming. The fish I caught deep came off rocks.
