Headed out around 6:30 this morning and went straight to a shallow cove(with lots of grass).Both of us using frogs(I was using a hornytoad,not sure what brand he was using). Within the first 30 minutes he landed a short and I missed 3 nad had 1 spit my frog. We satyed back there a while longer with no success.Headed to Soddy Creek and flipped trees with barely anything ,not hardly a bite. Eventully hit some "rip rap" around the bridge and pointer landed a few shorts. Well to make a long story short,I think all togather we boated around 15 all shorts except 1 keeper pointer caught. I flipped a jig(green pumkin/orange w/ craw trailer) and pointer used a baby brushhog(green pumkin witch caught most of the fish). All around a tough day,but it was great to meet pointer and look forward to fishing with him again!!
