Headed out and fished some coves north of the nuke plant around 7:00 am this morning. The temperature was very nice and overcast although the wind and chop was a little bad early on when near the main channel. After one blow up on topwater and no takers exploring some of Possum Creek I eventually made my way up to Sale Creek. Around 10AM I boated two LM, one 14.5" and other 12", with a TR in 8-12' of water. emoThumbsup Surface water temperature was 80.7 F. Fished my way back downriver and boated a slick but once the water temperature began to warm and the jetskis were thick as gnats I decided to call it a day. All in all, beautiful day to be on the water and I can't wait for the fall temperatures...just wish I could catch up with some keepers. emoScratch
