I went bass fishing yesterday morning and it was coldemoRedface ! We launched at Wolftever, and I went back up into that creek, not knowing what to use, so I used a rapala countdown, I didn't get anything, so we took a trip to the lake to somewhere around Chester Frost, I fished some docks (about 10ft water) using the countdown still, and caught about 5 bass (small 1/2 pounders). After that it had started to warm up a bit at about 10:45am, and we went back in the Wolftever creek, fished some docks there, and caught some more bass, about 8-10 of them on the countdown, most of them were bigger than the first five. But I didn't catch anything decent:( . I caught all my fish on the countdown, about 15 bass, so that was okay for me!

You need to broaden your horizons, CrazyemoSmile. The next time you fish the rip-rap, bring some Bandit 100s & 200s in Splatterback, Tennessee Shad, and Rootbeer. In addition, some t-rigged Zoom craws and shaky-head Zoom finesse worms would make for a fine day of rip-rappin'.

If you listen to Jason he'll get you catching some fish. Good fish Nothing wrong with the count downs. There's just a time & a place for every bait. And every bait don't work all the time.emoCool

It would be nice if we could always make them bite what we like to throw. Somretimes that works out, but more often it doesnt. Good report, the spinnerbait bite in shallow water should be getting good.
