I hit several sites on the south end this afternoon and landed 3 nice keeper LM. (pretty sure they're LM, but not very good distinguishing between LM and Spot). They came from 4- 8 feet of water and all were caught on a green/brown jig 'n pig. I must have cast the spinners in many colors 7000 times today with 0 interest. But those J'nPs are working pretty well for me just now. Anyway, I'm still very much in the learning phase (but then, aren't we always?) and a big day for me would be a slow day for some of you aces. Hopefully by the end of the summer a three keeper day will be a slow day for me, too. I can't say enough what a great resouce this site is. Thanks, Dhuan.

Yeah, the crawdad bite is pretty hot right now, especially around the rip-rap banks. I've done pretty good with the Zoom Big Critter Craw paired up with 3/16oz Gambler Rattling bullet weight. However, I generally end up with spotted bass in those areas.
