Fished last night from 6-9:30, just trying to find some bass for the dogfight tonight. We had an east wind and blue-bird skies. We hit probably 7-8 different humps, points, and bars in deep water. The bite was tough we only had 1 keepert and probably 6 slicks the keeper threw the CB before we got him to the boat but it looked about 3 lbs or so. One thing I have noticed is that the lake changes every year. Different humps are better one year and then terrible the next. I told my partner it would not be any fun if we did not have to work so hard to find them. It was a beautiful evening with water temps in the mid 70s, but It will hit 80 soon with this weather and that should stack the good ones up. Are any of you guys planning on fishing the HBDF tonight?
