Fished last night from 6-9:30, just trying to find some bass for the dogfight tonight. We had an east wind and blue-bird skies. We hit probably 7-8 different humps, points, and bars in deep water. The bite was tough we only had 1 keepert and probably 6 slicks the keeper threw the CB before we got him to the boat but it looked about 3 lbs or so. One thing I have noticed is that the lake changes every year. Different humps are better one year and then terrible the next. I told my partner it would not be any fun if we did not have to work so hard to find them. It was a beautiful evening with water temps in the mid 70s, but It will hit 80 soon with this weather and that should stack the good ones up. Are any of you guys planning on fishing the HBDF tonight?

Sorry i was in a confernce call and typing at the same time. I was referring to the radar. The storms have all moved south of us for now. I will be in a purple/white bullet. Holler at me!

Well, I just got a call that my boat is fixed...$350, but that was with a trim motor, digging wood out of my speedo hole, and giving me a general tune up.

Anyway, I was in the E-Room all night with my wife, still trying to recover from pneumonia, and we didn't get home till 6am. I highly doubt that I will be in the dogfight. Of course that just means that I won't be making a 12$ donation more than likely.:)

I hope your wife gets better Davo! All it takes is to win one good time and it pays the $12 entry fee for the rest of the season. My mom says I'm just gambling with a bunch of old men, I agreed!;)

Thanks guys, she's doing much better. However, in my haste to go get my boat before the place closed, I neglected to go pick up her prescriptions like an idiot. Hmmm, what's more important, my wife's health or my boat......geez I suck.

Davo, glad you did not have to give an arm or leg for the trim motor, and buy her some flowers and a card and she won't be so mad.emoAngel

Churly, I have noticed the same thing on Watts bar. Some humps produce one year and then some others the next. I think alot of it is the cover is rotting away, which is a good reason to put out more.
