My partner and I got out this morning to try the buzz. We picked up a few new ones at the sportman's warehouse. I pitched a two hitter and decided to go out on the river and try the spinnerbait in some wood. Boy was it windy this morning and we didn't stay with that to long. So back to the tried and true worm we went. Several fish and five keepers later we gave it up. Good morning, just not happy with the buzzbait bite. Water Temp 80 degrees. Jmax, I need to schedule a Buzz lesson. Here is a pic of a good chick bass I caught this morning held by my partner. God Bless emoBigsmile

My son and I have a great time on the water together. I get to pass down what ever I can to him and he decides weather to use it or not. I love to tell him about pass fishing trips and things that have happen before he was born or to small to remember. He takes it in like a sponge. I also remind him how blessed we are to be able to spend time together and enjoy God's great outdoors. He can do a lot of things at a much earlier age than when I was young. He has almost as much tackle as I do and can throw a baitcaster and any other type of reel. I didn't have my first baitcaster until I finished college. He's a joy to spend time with and a great student and athlete. So you have all of those things to look foward to. Don't be afraid to start him out young. Gabriel caught his first fish at age three and was hooked for life. I hope we can always be fishing Partners.

Nice fish Gary. Gabe is a lucky lil man to have a great Dad that takes him fishing and teaches him about the wonders of nature. Your a good man.

That's just a plain good read right there! Thanks for sharing.

Great pic Biofisher I! Glad ya'll had a good day even if the buzz wasn't working too well. Wish I could spend more time with my lil girl and maybe she would be a better outdoors person than me even. Thanks for the post and the great read. So glad to see folks spending more time with the kids. I see a lot of folks just taking their kids to town and giving them a 20 and tell them to call when they want to come home. Thats not a good up bringing in my opinion, but some folks do that. emoThumbsup

You guys really get into some good fish Bio. It's great to see that Gabe is really getting into it. That looks like a really good one.
