CHICK DAM 5/21/06

A friend and I fished from 4pm-7:30pm. Caught a couple of Largemouth on the flat straight out form boat ramp 10-19 foot deep on watermelon fluke- carolina and texas style rig also caught one on crankbait( not sure what type of crankbait my partner was using other than it was natural fish color.

Moved to rocks outside of lakeshore caught nice small mouth and large brim on a white speckled bandit. Caught 3 spots on fluke. 0- 10 ft. depth.

Hadn't fished during the day in a realy long time. Very enjoyable...

Great report! I have grown to enjoy fishing the second half of the day. Due to schedules, we rarely get on the water before 2 or 3pm. The fishing starts slow and gradually builds up to the grand finale at dusk.
