Chick Dam 5/21

I didn't want to mess with putting the boat in the water so we just went and fished from shore for the afternoon. We got there about 2 and stayed until about 7ish. We caught a ton of skipjacks and a few big bream as well. I also caught a largemouth about a pound or a pound and a half and then one dink that was about 13" and my buddy richard caught a 17" smallie on a big storm swimbait. All in all not a bad way to spend a sunday afternoon!

I must have just missed you. I took home a cooler full of skipjack, I'm gonna put them to good use this week!

It was a real slow bite on the skippies once the sun broke through. We are going to have to catch up here before too long and do some serious fishing.

You think it was a slow bite after the sun broke, you should have been there before the sun came up, it was non existent.

they kept getting smaller too. I caught some that were about 6 inches long and just had to free spool them to see if I could catch one of those stripers that have got to be hiding somewhere.
