OK, Jmax here is my report. Sorry you had to shame into giving a report. I sat down a couple times to type my report and would always get interrupted. So today went in my office closed the door and told everyone I was not to be disturbed I had some very important work that must be finished immediately.
Fished a couple of days last week, 1st day was very slow, fished traps, spinner bait, and worms. I caught 2 fish ( 1 on a trap and 1 on a worm) probably a little over a pound each and a couple of dinks. The second day was much better. I fished mostly finesse worms and a jig, I caught 4 fish probably around 2 pounds each and 1 probably a little over 3 pounds with a big fat belly (battery in scales went dead). I lost 1 good fish. I hooked her around a blowdown on a jig, she got caught on some branches, thought she got off when I went to try to retrieve my jig I felt her still on. Trolled in, she's still on, pulled so hard on my rod thought it would brake. Finally got the limb close enough I could grab it. Fish still on I can see it about a foot under the water. Pulled on limb, could almost reach the fish, when the limb brakes. Fish still on. Just as the limb with fish attached was almost in the boat. Guess what. Yep, fish came off. Lost the fish, but the chase was fun. Provided a little entertainment for the gentleman crappie fishing a blowdown close to me. Finished the day with 5 fish and 4 or 5 dinks in the boat and 1 almost in the boat.
Fished Saturday. And now I remember why I don't like fishing weekends in the summer. Cruisers everywhere. I thought I was in the ocean at one point. Tried to go back up in Woftever creek, but it must have rain alot Friday night, the water was very muddy and debris was everywhere. Found some water not as muddy around the island in wolftever. Fished a finesse worm on the sandy banks caught 2 fish up close to the bank. Caught a couple dinks around the stumps at Harrison Bay. Water temp. Saturday at the rock walls in woftever was 67 and was 65 close to the bridge.
