chick / hiwassi crappie 3/23

got out on the river at day break this morning to try catch a few crappie....we started fishing in 4-5 foot of water and no bites...kept on moving toward shallower water and the bite started when we got in bout 2 ft of water....we wound up with 24 keepers and we lost count of how many fish we actually caught...est. around 60 to 70 fish...all fish came casting a float and 2 jigs...black/blue chart....and blue shad grubs..we had to leave around 11 o'clock..if we could of stayed just a little longer we know we would of had a limit
