Chick Report 5/20-5/21

Had a club tournament out of Soddy Creek on Saturday. We ran to Sale Creek first thing, caught a couple on floating worm and buzzbait, but all small. Left there and went to Possum, caught a 15.5" LM on a chatterbait, which would turn out to be the only keeper for the day. Finished the day off at ChesterFrost catching small ones on a fluke. My squeaker weighted a whopping 1.46 lbs, 1st was 14 lbs, 2nd was 13 lbs.

Launched again this morning out of Soddy, we stayed in there and had 1 LM @ 3 lbs. Had another one about the same size follow the bait all the way to the boat, but never bit. Had to cut the day short as the weather ROLLED in quick. All in all, not a bad weeekend, just wish we could have found a few more keepers. Carl

fischnrod, I fish with the Sparta Bass Club, I fished with them while I was in college at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville and now I drive back and forth from Memphis once a month to fish with them. You know someone always finds them and it always seems the same guys find them every month. Carl
