My favorite partner and I got up early to do some multispecies fishing today with a plan to have a fresh fish dinner for mom. We started out looking for crappie and we did find some but most were small. Next around 7:00 we headed down river to do some bass fishing along the river. Started with cranks and found a few bass willing to play. Move again down to the dam lake and my partner did some bream fishing while I continued to bass fish. We finished the day with a live well of Bream, crappie, and bass. Keeping what we could eat and releasing the rest. Multi species day was a lot of fun and we lost count of the number of bass and panfish that we caught. In all we landed , blue gills, shell crackers, crappie, and three species of bass. We had a great dinner with mom at the end of the day. Lures used during the day: plastic worms, cranks, jigs, panfish swimlures and earthworms. Largest bass 2.5 lbs. crappie 11inches, several large bull bream.
God bless
