Fished with my son 3:30 til 6:00. He had fished Fri. in the backs of deep sloughs with wind blowing into them & caught fish in 1-2' on char. & white spinnerbait. Ended up catching 3 LM & 2 big crappie on 1/4 oz. char. rattletrap fished slow out off the banks in 4-7'. Don't know what the surface temp was, but air temp got to 53.

Great to have you on the forum TR20bh. We go way back, I think that I met you the first year that I lived here in Chattanooga. I'm looking forward to getting back fishing with you some. It's been years since we've been, like maybe 10 years. You always knew how to get on the fish, I'm getting better but still have a lot to learn.

Polo, looking forward to us hooking back up again. Every time i'm up Woltever & go by your dock I kept saying I needed to call, then I'd get tied up & not do it.
Thanks for the welcome, guys. I know you can teach me a few things about our local waters & hopefully I can share some things I've learned that can help you, too.
RR, no they haven't built a dock at Skull yet, but the ramp is in good shape, even during winter, & it's free.

another thing my son told me, was he caught all those SB fish on the sunny side of the target he was throwing at, be it a dock piling, stump or brush. Makes since with the water temps in those only 49-50 deg.
