Chick slabs,3-11-07

Went out this morning by myself. Got my limit. Had quite a few slabs. Also got 2 lm, one was 3.8 lbs. Caught about 25 crappie total. Water was 55* at daylight and warmed up a few degrees by the time I left. I actually started fishing before daylight and they were turned on pretty good till a barge came by and they seemed to quit for a little while after that.

Alrighty then. Nice crappies and a gorgeous bucketmouth. I am wanting to get into some slabs. I got a couple yesterday, but I want enough to put in the freezer.
