Chickamauga 11-20

Launched out of Harrison Bay with my son at 1:00. Ran over to Wolftever,( where was everybody?) and started fishing cranks, top water, and jerkbaits. No baitfish activity at all and the fish were much more scattered than I thought they'd be. Caught a dozen or so slicks. My partner caught 2 on a chartreuse grub. After a while he picked up his Gameboy so I decided to fish rocks up close and personal. Ended the day with a 17" LM on a black/blue jig. I saw maybe 8-9 boats all afternoon long. No wind at all either so I didn't attempt a blade. Good day with my young'n.

It looked like a beautiful day to be on the water. Cloudy and warm, I was with my young one out of town with a soccer tourney. I would have loved to be out on the water. About what would you say the 17 incher weighed?

Polo......3 lbs or slightly more. My son was impressed.
