Put in at Harrison Bay at 1:00. I've never seen the water that low and I've been fishing Chickamauga 25 years. Great day to be on the water....unless your fishing. Threw everything at them with no results. Missed a couple of bites on a jig. Fished secondary and main lake points. On my way back to the ramp, I stopped and threw a Norman Deep Little N around the points in Harrison Bay and finally caught my one and only fish. A 15 inch keeper,(barely) to end the day . No baitfish activity again. Talked with others who had the same luck. Tough days like these make you appreciate the good ones more. Hope all had lots to eat fot Thanksgiving.

I agree with you that the water has been exceptionally low. It's up a little now as the rains have come but it was really, really low recently. My digital camera is in the shop or else I'd be out shooting pics of the shallow areas that I fish to know where to concentrate in the spring when the water is up. Saving a picture really helps me to visualize what's down there when it's covered up.

I hear ya' polo. This is the time of year I like to get my sea kayak out and 'scout'. I can find some pretty interesting features just gliding along in ankle deep water. I need to add either a digital camera or a log book to the scouting though, as my mind more often than not fails me when the water rises back up.

There are lots of cheap digital cameras out there. The one I have is great and can store over 500 pictures of good quality. I plan to get out and catalog some this year.
