I finally got out on the water today after several weeks of work and family stuff. It was a beautiful day to be on the water, but to say it was windy would be an understatement. I tried to fish some unprotected humps out in Harrison Bay but the wind was too much. I fished from about 11:00 am until 5:30 pm in Harrison Bay and Wolftever Creek. I caught and released 7 bass. All were from 11" to 14 1/2". All were caught in 5' to 10'. I caught one on a S.B., 3 on a finesse worm, and 3 on a C'rigged lizard. The fish didn't seem aggressive today, at least from my perspective. I started out shallow hoping to pick up some late spawners, but no takers. I also fished a while in the 12' to 20' range and didn't have any luck. I saw water temps from 69 deg. when I first went out to 74 deg. when I came off the water. I talked to several other fishermen and they were having a tough day also. I saw where it took 19 lbs. to win the kids tournament out of HBSP. emoWorthy emoWorthy is all I've got to say to the folks who weighed in a good bag today. The wind and bright sky was not what I would have ordered, but as I said It was a beautiful day on the water and I feel blessed to have got to go. I also stopped and had a nice chat with Polo-dog. He spotted my fish and ski when I pulled up to his dock. It was nice to "shoot the breeze" for a while and talk fishing, Mark is a friend I wouldn't have got to know except for the CFFemoThumbsup .
