Didn't have any patients scheduled till the afternoon. Shoot....I'll go fishing. Launched at Skull Island around 5:00 a.m. Started with a Zoom Horny Toad and a Spook in the back of Ware Branch. No takers on the Spook but managed 2 small keepers and numerous smaller fish on the Toad. Ran one slough up and started using a Zoom Fluke along a cinder block wall in 2-3 ft of water that was still in the shade. Got slammed by a nice 3 1/2 pounder. Caught a few dinks for the next hour or so before switching to a Zoom Baby Brush Hog around docks. Caught my last keeper, (3 pounder), beside a dock with brush underneath a low hanging branch. Total weight of all 4 fish on a digital scale was 9.93 lbs. All fish were caught in water 5 ft or less. There was a slight breeze out of the NW. Don't think that had anything to do with it but it did make it cooler. Put the boat on the trailer at 11:00 a.m. Looking forward to the CFF night tournament on Chickamauga the 24th.
