Hello everyone,
Had to work in the amemoAngry, but got to get out on the lake around 2:30 with the wife and daughters. Had a great time just relaxing with the family. Around 6:00 decided I would fish a little since everyone was evidently water logged by that time and out of the water!
Even though the slough I was in in Harrison Bay was full of boats, jet skiers, and water skiers I managed to catch 4 bass in about 45 minutes on finesse worms (dark colors) fished T-rigged and C-rigged. The fish were on wood in 5 to 10 foot of water. The largest was around 16" and the other 3 ranged from one of the smallest bass I ever caughtemoRedface to 14". It was a very nice time on the water spent with my family. I really needed the relief from stress at work and the good Lord blessed me with what I needed. Water temp is up to 89 degrees. I heard a report of 17 bass being caught in Harrison Bay that day with 3 or 4 over 3 lbs. Based upon by experience I would have to say the bite was on and the fish were aggressive. After getting home and everything put up I had to go back to work emoMad emoMad , but I guess I should have the attitude that I'm fortunate to work for a company that has a lot of work to do!emoThumbsup. Everyone be especially careful this long weekend, there are a lot of people on the water and some of them don't use common sense!!!!
