Hello everyone,

Had to work in the amemoAngry, but got to get out on the lake around 2:30 with the wife and daughters. Had a great time just relaxing with the family. Around 6:00 decided I would fish a little since everyone was evidently water logged by that time and out of the water!:) Even though the slough I was in in Harrison Bay was full of boats, jet skiers, and water skiers I managed to catch 4 bass in about 45 minutes on finesse worms (dark colors) fished T-rigged and C-rigged. The fish were on wood in 5 to 10 foot of water. The largest was around 16" and the other 3 ranged from one of the smallest bass I ever caughtemoRedface to 14". It was a very nice time on the water spent with my family. I really needed the relief from stress at work and the good Lord blessed me with what I needed. Water temp is up to 89 degrees. I heard a report of 17 bass being caught in Harrison Bay that day with 3 or 4 over 3 lbs. Based upon by experience I would have to say the bite was on and the fish were aggressive. After getting home and everything put up I had to go back to work emoMad emoMad , but I guess I should have the attitude that I'm fortunate to work for a company that has a lot of work to do!emoThumbsup. Everyone be especially careful this long weekend, there are a lot of people on the water and some of them don't use common sense!!!!

Best Regards,

CCSM, glad to hear that you were on them too. It seems like as long as there is current in the summer the bite can still be good. You just have to fish a little deeper.
